Collective REMAKE is supporting Co-operative Education and Development with People in Communities impacted by incarceration. Through Co-operative Education and Development (CEAD) workshops, a Co-op Development Program, and a Train-the-Trainers Program, Collective REMAKE is committed to building an eco-system that includes a network of co-operative economic development, inclusive support systems, and sustainable healing communities.

(This series includes an orientation of nine workshop sessions including a guest speaker from a operating co-op business)

  1. Introduction to Co-operatives: the Principles and Values
  2. History of Co-operatives in the United States and Around the World
  3. Practicing Democracy: Consensus and Participatory Practices
  4. Just Transition: Co-operatives in a Regenerative Economy
  5. Envisioning a Co-op Community in Your Neighborhood
  6. Designing your Co-operative Business I
  7. Designing your Co-operative Business II
  8. Final Presentations, Participatory Evaluation and Celebration
  9. Visiting Co-op ( this session may be scheduled between other workshops)
